To extend the impact of the Shoreline exhibition longer term, diverse groups representing localities along the Edinburgh shoreline were encouraged and equipped to develop engagement with their own stretch of the coast, identify special places, problems, access issues and opportunities. An Ideas Pack was designed and produced together with a joined-up community coast map that can be displayed at other events to promote and celebrate the shoreline’s rich history and biodiversity and to encourage visits from locals and tourists.
